In 20 rounds that I tracked I hit double 3’s once, lost completely by rolling a 7 eight times, and I lost by rolling 1 six or eight without getting double 3’s or double 4’s 11 times. In those 11 times I didn’t actually lose anything, because while I lost the hardway bet, I still won the Big bet, and broke even. So overall, I didn’t win one out of ten, but I didn’t lose 9 out of ten either.

After tracking the 20 hands I kept on playing, and I had my most amazing run of wins, and I won over €3,ooo, ending the run with €7,239

I started out by putting €10 on 8. It took 6 spins before I landed on the 8, and I came away win of €120. I chose 5 next, and won on my first spin. Brimming with confidence I stuck with 5, sadly, I didn’t land on 5 again. after 18 spins without klanding on 5 I gave up.

Bottom line, I started with €4131 and despit winning 2 hands, I ended up with €4131.

King Kong:

This was the most I ever played King Kong, it was a pretty cool game, it has 2 different modes, I believe Jungle Mode and Big City mode. One thing I didn’t quite understand is all the dinosaur imagery. The first scatter bonus that I got was to match up 3 dinosaurs, and that was worth a certain value. The second bonus round I went to made more sense. You have to choose which airplanes you want King Kong to knock out of the sky.

Punisher War Zone
I wrote last week that one of the cooler aspects of the Punisher War Zone is that if you get the Punisher logo, it fills a spot on the bottom of the reel, and after all slots are filled, you win 5 free spins. Today I learned that the game saves your Punisher logos from your previous time playing. So instead of starting needing all  4 Punisher logos to win the free spins, I only needed a few. The other fun thing, is that while you are in teh bonus round if you get a Punisher logo anywhere on the board, you get an additional 5 free spins.

All told I played 400 spins and won a total of €58. I’m not sure what this is supposed to tell us, had I quit earlier I could have won more money, and had I kept playing, who knows. I guess what I found out is that in the end it pretty much balances out. Some rounds I lost, others I won. If you look at the Incredible hulk stats – In the first round I won big, and then lost some of it each time, until I lost everything from the bonus. With Iron Man 2, the final round was where I hit the bonus, so I was able to walk away before losing my winnings.

I started out with the big green man – and pretty quickly I hit the 3x expanding Hulk, for those who didn’t read my post from last week, this is where you have have a Hulk in the middle space on on the middle reel, and also, one on either side. If you get this, Hulk rips out the those three reels, and they become wilds, and you get a free spin. The odds that you win a nice pot are very good, and I came away with a €131 win. My feeling is once you win a nice pot in slots, you should leave and find a new game. I just believe that the odds are in your favor to hit it twice.

So I switched to Iron Man 2 and after a few minutes of spins, I landed on a Scatter bonus. This is where you have three Iron Man icons. It was the same as last time, with 10 free spins and an increasing multiplier and I away with €230. For some reason I didn’t quit here, and I guess this illustrates my point that I made above, I don’t think I won anything in my final 30 spins. I set it on 10 autospin 3 times, and I’m guessing that on 25 of them I didn’t even win anything.

All told, I had a good day, I started at €4,502 and I ended it with €4,657

I started out by playing “Live Blackjack” Basically, there is a casino that is affiliated with Casino.com and they have camera’s set up, so you can see the dealer and the cards being dealt. I liked the idea of this because even though the Online Casino’s swear that they are randomly generated and the odds of winning against the computer are the same as in real life, it still creeps into my mind that things are shady when I lose.

The first thing I noticed is that thanks to my firewall I couldn’t see the dealer, but I was OK with that. Also the game-play is slower then when playing the computer, partly because you have to for other people to think and make their, their is 15 second time-frame for you to make a decision, and partly because everything has to be entered into the computer and that adds to the time.

I started out by playing €20 a hand and quickly upped that to €50, which is the max for table I was playing at. Several times I was able to split my hand (for those who don’t the rules of Blackjack, if the 2 cards that you’re dealt are the same you can split them into to hands, and then you have pay an ante price on the second as well) and the second card for both decks game me either a 9, 10 or 11 and I doubled them both, meaning I had €200 total on the table, and I won both hands. Those hands were really sweet. I think I did that 3 times over the course of the past few days.

At some point I switched over to the regular blackjack, and the difference in speed was amazing, I could play 10 hands in the time it took to play 1 live hand. On the other hand, I lost really quickly. Within minutes I dropped the €1000 that I had made in the day and a half of live play.

When I got to the point where I couldn’t stand the thought of seeing another hand being dealt to me, I was at €3,500, I decided to lay a €500 bet. I figured if I still had €3000 at the end of the day it would be OK. I was dealt a 9 and 2 – The dealer had a 5 showing. I had no choice I had to double down – I had €1000 riding on the next card, I don’t think I’ve ever made such a large breath. Amazingly, the next card was a 10, giving me 21, and I knew at worst it would be a push. It took the dealer cards, but he finally busted, giving me a €2000 win. It was pretty crazy. All told in the 3 days of Blackjack I ended up winning about €230.

Doubled down on a €500 hand

OK, the bonus rounds are probably not new, but they are new to me.

Here’s the thing with these online slot games, I have absolutely no idea what makes a win or loss, so I was shocked when for apparently no reason I got a cool looking bonus round. it had the logos of all the marvel comic hero’s, and it’s called the Power Jackpot. I’ve often wondered what the power jackpot numbers on the top right of my screen meant and now I found out.

The jackpot game was pretty simple, you just click on a bunch of squares until you get 3 matching ones. I clicked on 4 before I had my matching set, and I won €152.

A couple of spins later I had a wild Hulk symbol in the each of the middle three columns. Instead of the standard Expanding hulk bonus round, which makes the entire middle row a wild, and you get a few free spins, it turns the middle 3 rows into wilds and gives you a free spin. On my free spin I got a 5 of kind and won €122.

Needless to say, this was no only a great run at the Incredible Hulk slot machine, it made me want to play more slots and see what I can win – Which I guess is the point.

1. You can weather the storms when things are bad and ride them out until your luck turns around

2. You can bet much higher amounts, and the losses don’t sting as much, because, as I said above, you can ride the storm out.

I won a few really big hands, I played €100 on the hard 6 and €100 on the big 6 and won, although to be honest, I lost that bet more than I won, but all it takes it winning it 1 out 4 times for a profit. My total today was as high as €4,659 and as low as €3,000. The odd thing was I was determined not to let it get below €4,000 but then I hit a losing streak and really didn’t want to stop after a big loss, so I tried recouping my bet, but that took longer than I thought. When I crawled back up to €3,500 – I decided to take a shot at quickly getting back to €4000 and so I played a €500 chip on the come out roll. I rolled a “6″ heart pounding in my chest, it took about 5 rolls, but I managed to get a  4,2 roll for a much needed win that put me back over €4,000.

After that I bounced up and down, playing more conservatively than before, and finally called it a day. All in all I would say it was a succesful day, I started out with €3,480 and ended with a total of €4,038

I played the movie slot machine games: The Incredible Hulk, Gladiator, Daredevil, Fantastic Four, Iron Man 2, X-men, and Punisher.

I’ve written at length about both The Incredible Hulk and Gladiator, so I’ll skip them, except to say that I got a terrible Scatter bonus round in Gladiator, in 14 free games, with a 2X multiplier, I won a measly €39. I did get 2 5 of a kinds in Hulk, each worth about €50 – but I didn’t get to play in the bonus rounds.

After that I played Daredevil, which has a cool interactive feature. There is a “Bullseye” that you can place on a spot of teh reels, before spinning and if Bullseye, the bad guy from Daredevil, lands on your bullseye you win 3x the bet. I landed on the spot twice, and won about €8. So it’s not a huge win, but it was fun to try and have some impact on the game

I finished my run by playing X-men and the Punisher. Xmen was really boring, the music was lame, and I didn’t win anyhing, which probably added to my general dislike of the game.

The nice thing about finally having a bankroll to play with is that every now and then I can do something crazy, make a large wager and really help bump me over the top.

After a day or two of playing and hovering between €1,500 and €2,700 I decided that it was time to make a huge move. I decided that I would drop €100 on the hard 6 bet, and immediatley rolled a 7 and lost. Determined to stick with it, I tried again a few hands later, this time on the Hard 8. I bet €100 on the come out roll, (which was and €100 on both the Big 8 and the Hard 8. After a few nerve wracking rolls, the dice came in my favor and I saw the double 4′s. Total win was €1,421.40. What an amazing feeling!
Another nice part about that win is it puts me at €110 in the black, in total so far I’ve deposited €3,370 and now I have €3,480.
